Masacril® outdoor fabric is an awning-grade solution-dyed acrylic, made in Spain by Sauleda and engineered specifically for outdoor canopies and umbrellas. Designed for long-term exposure to sun, wind, and moisture, it offers outstanding durability while maintaining a refined, elegant appearance.
Often referred to as Sauleda Masacril® solution-dyed acrylic, the fabric is coloured at the fibre’s core during the manufacturing process. This ensures exceptional colour fastness, allowing the fabric to retain its rich tones even under New Zealand’s strong UV conditions. Its tight weave and specialised finish provide enhanced stability, making it ideal for umbrella canopies that must remain taut, resilient, and weather-ready.
Masacril® is water-repellent, breathable, and resistant to mould and mildew. Its smooth surface sheds light rain and dries quickly, while still allowing airflow through the fabric. The result is a long-lasting canopy material that offers comfort, protection, and a polished aesthetic.
